Franklin and Betty, were both rebels in there own way. Franklin was a rebel in that he was always pushing it to see what he could get away with. Betty on the other hand just likes to openly defy her parents because she is old and mature enough to make her own decisions. Franklin got his thrills by smoking were he wasn’t supposed to and driving a little to fast sometimes. Betty on the other hand got her thrills by just doing the opposite of what her parents told her to do, and by just being a “Debbie Downer.”
The difference between Franklin and Betty is that Franklin is simply the type of rebels they are. Franklin is your typical bad boy who smokes drives fast cars and is always pushing rules to there breaking points wherever he may be, school, home, everywhere. Betty is just the bad little girl that thinks she knows it all and is ready to grow up to fast.

That's a really good post! I like the way you summed up their differences!
ReplyDeleteI can tell you wrote that post at 10:25 last night lol. By now, it's obvious the extra credit isn't important to you. Typos, grammar errors, and misspellings abound. But you're right; both were rebels.
ReplyDeleteIf Daddy had gotten Betty her little green car at the beginning of the book, she would have driven it too fast, too! LOL.
ReplyDeleteBetty was a spoiled brat...
